      Heritage of Wauneta is a 35-plus-bed nursing facility that offers restorative care services. It makes individual care plans based on the recommendations of health care professionals, residents and family members. Located in Wauneta, Neb., the facility also conducts several religious and social activities, including arts and crafts, live musical concerts, summer barbecues, community trips and picnics. Heritage of Wauneta is a part of Vetter Health Services, which owns and operates more than 30 long-term care facilities in Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri and Wyoming. Founded in 1975, the parent company also publishes quarterly newsletters that provide information on the health care industry.
