Tyler was an excellent salesman! We will definitely be recommending him to all of our friends shopping for a vehicle. We loved the fact that he listended to exactly what we were looking for and could afford. We could definitely tell it wasn't just able making the sale, but more about making sure his clients left with a smile on their face. He definitely accomplished that with us! Thanks again Tyler.

Over a period of several weeks I corresponded with Russell about a Mazda5, and was given quotes by eMail on both the Sport and Grand Touring models. When my wife and I went in to actually buy (this was on Jan 12, 2013), we were told that "They can't do that, those prices were for a special advertising promotion, etc." and prices would be substantially higher. I will NEVER again attempt to do any business with North Park Mazda. Nor should you. There are much better dealers.

I wanted to update my previous comment about the payment challenge. I am impressed as after I complained to the BBB North Park came through and honored their deal. This reaffirmed my faith in them. I had been and now still am a happy customer since July 2009. Today my car was towed there after I hit a curb last night and flattened 2 tires. Jason in service (who is always terrific) got it checked out and fixed without appointment and gave me my rental for free while I wait 1 day for tires I want to come in. I can't recommend this place high enough and they have earned this customer's continued business!
I was sent a payment challenge offer in the mail saying that they would lower the payment on a comparable vehicle or make my next payment for me. I went in to do this and when they couldn't, they employed time delays, rudeness, and false explanations of policies that they could not produce in writing (even after 35 minutes). They refused to honor the offer and even said my problem was that I was using "common sense." Stay away from the bait and switch dealer known as North Park Mazda.

This service center is the worse place i have ever been to!! i would not reccomend it to my worst enemy. Sergio Aguilar in the service department is inconsistent and unreliable. the price of how much my car would cost changed three times! he is barely nice to people only because he wants his precious survey to be good. but believe me when it comes to me, nothing will make me happier to put a big fat 0 on this survey! if 0 is even on there! i might have to put a 1 which he does not deserve! for this reason i will never buy a mazda again. they make everything so difficult! plus they say they will call you back in 10 min, 5 min, oh again in 30 min, and the calls never go come in for some reason! DO NOT GO HERE; its worth the drive to world car mazda or even IPAC!

The car buying experience including the sale itself with Fernando Galindo, the financial side, and the final price adjustment with the sales manager was smooth and completed with personal touches for me the buyer. I would definitely recommend North Park Mazda

The car we originally test drove was sold after we left. It was the last one on the lot. The salesman knew we were interested in a different color...searched the inventory...and found the correct color with the options we wanted. Perfect...

Ernie is an outstanding salesman, and a pleasure to do business with. We were not easy customers, but he was very patient and helpful. I usually dislike the whole car-buying process, but he made it enjoyable! I will definately recommend him and North Park Mazda to everyone I know.

Your sales and services staff have been professional. I now own 2 MAZDAS: A 2007 3 5-door hatchback and a 2011 MAZDA 2 5-door hatchback. I would not object if you used me as a customer reference. Tyler Dykstra went above and beyond to help me purchase my first Mazda vehicle. He was scheduled to leave by 5 but stayed until after 830 so I could complete my purchase. That meant a lot to me. He was also extremely knowledgeable and informative. Great communicator and very personable. Easiest car purchase I've ever made! Thanks Tyler! I will definitely be referring family and friends to Tyler in the future!
We were looking to downsize our vehicles and after reading the reviews for the CX-9 decided to visit NP Mazda. We had good experiences with other North Park dealerships in the past so we decided to begin here. Initially, all was great, all the things a buyer wants to hear. Even when flags began to come up, such contradictory statements from the salesman and way too much up-sell enthusiasm from the finance guy, we went forth. We did not come out with the car we wanted but were satisfied enough with the payment we negotiated. We even decided to then go and trade our other luxury vehicle in two days later for a 'promised' floor model we had seen. Again, flags immediately went up when we were told as we arrived the floor model had been 'sold from under' our salesman! Seriously!!! I had luckily printed up the specs on that model so when the salesman told us he had an even better buy, I compared. It wasn't better, but close enough to meet our needs. Again, our paperwork ended up at the bottom of the finance pile. The salesman offered us free oil changes for the life of our vehicle to compensate for our troubles. The finance experience this go round was a better experience, but he told us the other guy had practically 'duped' us into buying more items than we needed. He said he would address it, as he was the finance manager. We believed him, but given recent events, i doubt it. As I go in for the second oil change on my vehicle, I am told it is not free. Apparently our sales rep failed to explain the second part, that it is free when we pay for the 5k, 10k, etc service checks at this dealer. When I called to demand an explanation, no one could offer one! The assistant to the General Manager called me and blamed ME! I told her I needed to speak to the manager, she had a sales manager call me. Once again, I was blamed for believing our sales guy! BEWARE because another hidden charge is the year of 'free' car washes. As the sales manager told me today, it is built into the money you pay for the sealant--I asked twice if you can opt out and never did get a response! I will NEVER buy another car from folks that lack such integrity. My advice, do not leave until every word uttered by your salesperson has been transcribed to paper! We learned about this dealership's misleading sales strategies the hard way! According to the service department, I am not the only complaint with the oil change trick. I cannot wait to trade in my car already.
