Lemon Tree Dental-Canyon Golf

I just moved from Ohio and was looking for a dentist in San Antonio. So the facility is awesome. Nice decor, very clean, and they have tv's in the dentist chair rooms. BUT the hygenist tried to tell me I need expensive fluoride treatment and sealants on my teeth. Um, I'm 27 and I've never had a cavity so no I don't need any of that. The dentist came in after my cleaning .. which was good minus the fact that the hygenist didn't take the time to let me take breaks and rinse my mouth and swallow and I had water dripping down my face .. and he was a totally rude. First he told me so who paid for your braces, well my parents I was 13, can I have their number?, why?, to tell them they got ripped off. Now my bottom teeth shifted very slightly so one tooth is slightly crooked, hardly noticeable, and this was due to the fact I didn't wear my retainer after. He said I need invisalign, I said oh for my bottom row? no top and bottom .. uh yea no my top is straight as can be. He said my teeth will only get worse. Well they haven't shifted since right after I got my braces off, so gonna have to raise the BS flag again. He said they would write me up a payment plan, I waited for FOREVER, so I got up and went to the front desk where the doc and receptionist were discussing my payment, pretty sure discussing how to convince me I need invisalign. The receptionist said well it is $4250 but Dr. so and so is a preferred provider so its $3250 .. preferred provider?! No wonder he wants me to buy it. This doc only cares about making money and nothing about your dental health. I have heard great reviews about the other lemon tree facilities so I would go there and not to this one. BEWARE! Oh and the review who gave this 5 stars is a fake .. they wrote the same review on several dentist places on the same day .. how many dentists do you go to? FAKE

I went there knowing I had cavities that needed to be filled. They handed me a treatment plan for $24,000 and said I had 9-10 root canals and crowns that needed to be done, as well as an extraction and an implant. I immediately got a 2nd opinion from a dentist numerous friends use and was told they all needed only fillings. To think I almost allowed someone to ruin perfectly good teeth is just horrific. This was the most awful example of using a degree to make people trust you and think you are doing the right thing. No one should EVER go there if there are looking for a dentist that cares about his patients not his pockets.

I had an unbelievable experience at this dental office!!! They had state of the art equipment, and offered me services, (like oral cancer screening) that I have never even heard of!!!!!

Everyone was so friendly and nice!!! They explained all of my treatment options to me, and actually took care of my tooth ache on the first visit!!!!

I went to the new Lemon Tree Dental office on Overlook Parkway because it was near to my home. I have gone to the dentist every 6 months for the past 40 years and have never encountered the treatment and diagnosis that I did at Lemon Tree.

The office personel, hygentist and dentists all tried to upsell me on treatments, cancer screenings, and necessary whitening products from the minute I walked in. This isn't the worst of it though -- I was told that I need 3 crowns and a filling replaced. By the way -- they are happy to finance you for the over $4,000 worth of work with interest of course.

I know my dental health and went for a second opinion to find out that I did not need ANY of that work done.

I recently found out that a neighbor took her two small children there and was told that between them they have 15 cavaties between them. She too went for a second opinion and NO work was needed for these little girls. Imagine the unneccessary cost and pain.

Horribly unethical practice!

Took my son 2 1/2 yrs old. Doctor was not friendly at all and made the kid very uncomfortable. Was then told to just leave. Not a plolite explanation or apologyies.

Kid was being talkative and I understand but situation could have been handled in more profesional way.

Not going back. LT knew the age of my son and they should not accept patients they are not willing to care for.
