Universal Orlando Resort

i love this place! the rides are way awesome and definately a great place to go with a group of friends and one of my favorite places in florida. the scene there is beautiful and food and staff are pretty great.

If you have a open mind, and haven't been brainwashed by too many Small World rides, this is the park for you. I've been to WDW (18) trips since it opened, but now I go to Universal Orlando. IMHO, the parks are for pre-teens and up, the resorts are gorgeous and affordable, and the Preferred Annual Pass is the best deal there is for a theme park anywhere. Definitely my #1 reason to go to Florida.

This park is full of thrilling rides. Words cannot describe how exciting Hulk, Dueling Dragons, Spider Man, etc. are. Staying at an on-site hotel gives you front of the line on every ride. City Walk and Universal Studios are very close to walk over to. The Spider Man character is really great to kids and plays the part perfectly.

I went here Thanksgiving, and it was really fun. Not the best park I've been to of course (nothing beats Cedar Point) but it's definitely up there. The Hulk was cool (but again, not the best I've ridden).

I ONLY HAVE 2 WORDS TO SAY ABOUT THIS PARK. THE HULK!!! THIS RIDE IS THE BEST ROLLER COASTER THAT I HAVE EVER BEEN ON. PREPARE FOR AN UNEXPECTED, BUT NICE SURPRISE ONCE RIDE STARTS. THE DAY WE WENT IT WAS VERY HOT OUTSIDE SO I WAS A LITTLE FRUSTRATED WITH LINES, BUT THATS SOMETHING YOU HAVE TO EXPECT. OTHER THAN THAT, THIS PARK IS GREAT!! THE DUELING DRAGONS ARE COOL TOO. I SUGGEST GETTING ON THE ICE DRAGON, I THINK IT GOES FASTER THAN FIRE DRAGON.

The Islands of Adventure designers certainly got one thing right--the rides. Too bad they didn't realize that theme parks are more than just rides. We bought the 5 days for the price of 2 for our family of 5. Only 2 of us (my older son and I) even came back for the 2nd day. Wasted $120. It was a bargain though since we all had such a great time at Walt Disney World.

(OK, the Jurassic Park area was great but that was really it).

This is the best park in Orlando..HANDS DOWN!! Great rides, fun atmosphere. This park broke the mold of Orlando's theme park industry. The park is family oriented, but the thrill rides here are actually THRILL RIDES! THE BEST rides are here. I just hope they keep expanding on it and add more roller coasters. I think its a shame that the ""roller coaster capital"" is in Ohio and not in Orlando, the ""theme park capital of the world"", where I personally think it should belong, especially where the ""World's Best"" rollercoaster is located. When you have a good thing going, try to keep it up and surpass ALL of the competition.

Islands of Adventure has the world's greatest roller coasters. THe Hulk, Spiderman, and Popeye wer my favorites. Jurrasic Park was also exciting. My kids loved Dr. Seuss Land.

Excellent annual pass with many perks.
Excellent kennel available for dogs.

It was soo fun i went there with some friends i loved everything even the kiddy rides i will go there every time i visit florida

I thought that islands of adventure was totaly awsome. Ireally like the ride of dueling dragons. was a really great ride.

Islands of Adventure has something for EVERY age group.

The Dr Suess area is particularly great for kids. There's rollercoasters, street performances, great shows, and many rides.

The staff at Islands of Adventure are very knowledgeable about the park & rides & are very friendly & helpful. The park is clean. The shopping is plentiful and there's many places to dine.

The only thing that I do not like is that EVERY ride exits through a 'theme' store & this can be particularly frustrating when enjoying the park with kids - they want EVERYTHING !!! I would have preferred to have the option of entering the sores of my choice !

There are also clean bathroom facilities, and the option of renting strollers & motorchairs.

I like huge roller coasters, simulation rides and the like. However I do not enjoy the lines, element of the crowd, the dirt and graffiti.
The food was disgusting!!
Disney is most definitely more for all ages.

I have been to every park in Orlando, and I must say that Islands of Adventure is the BEST one of all. It is layed out perfectly, there are plenty of restrooms, places to eat with alot of variety!!

Islands of Adventure has to be one of the funnest places in Central Florida. If you're a roller coaster buff you won't want to miss out on this park.

They had my family and I as an annual pass holders but ignored us when this facility opened. Poor public relations. Lost all interest in Universal when I could have been renewing annuals since 1999. Disney did just the opposite. They added the Animal Kingdom to annuals at no additional cost when it first opened.

best fun in orlando the most fun you can have have been to every park in orlando and have lived in fl. for my whole life we come to orando at least 7 times a year if not more can't get the kids to go unless we take them to islands of adventure.

This park has it all. Wild coasters, excellent childrens area, unusual rides, its all here.
