This is my personal favorite restaurant. For a chain is is amazingly good and they always have great service. The food is priced accordingly and what's great about it being a scratch kitchen is you can request ingredients be left out if you are allergic, etc. I go here all the time on dates with my fiance' and with my friends. Two thumbs up!

It was my daughter's 2nd annual birthday dinner at Maggino's. They made a little girl feel like a star. The manager was awesome, the chef came to our table to wish her a happy birthday and our waiter was great. Love Love Love them for making her night so special.

We really love the food!!!!!!!!!!! The zuch app on the menu is really great with the marinara sauce (try it). I think in general the waiting staff is pretty good, but the hosting staff both on the phone and in person are easily the rudest and most unfriendly of any major restaurant that we have eaten at in any major city in the US. I can tell you this is true almost without failure and we eat there several times a month and drive all the way from Murfreesboro!
I think this is because they are always fairly full, particularly on the weekend and to this staff we (the customer) are a huge bother!

Love the takeout menu! I go on weeknights sometimes when I want something quick. I call literally 5 minutes before I arrive, and grab something to go! It's always so delicious. My favorite takeout item is ""MoMs Lasagna"". They give you delicious fresh bread, oil & vinegar. There is special parking for pickup orders, and a side door entry. Its great! Will be back!

We took our daughter to dinner at Maggiano's for her birthday which we have for the past two years. This was my second time over the last three months to go where the service was awful. The waiter had more tables than he could handle, the hostess filled our glasses with water and ended up gettin gus bread after we sat there for ten minutes. The food was tasteless and the service was very slow and this was a Tuesday night. For what we paid for four people to eat and have drinks I could find a better place with better service. We felt cramped, took forever to get drinks and again the food was ok. Will not return as sad as that is.

Maggiano's is one of my very favorite places to eat. I have eaten here more times than I can count, and it has always been delicious. The lasagna is okay, but not one of my favorites - it has too much sausage and is really too large to eat without making a mess. The Rigatoni D is good, but I really prefer the richer tomato-based dishes. The gnocchi in vodka sauce, eggplant parmesan, and four cheese ravioli are all scrumptious. My sister loves the chicken and spinach manicotti, and my dad loves the fettucine alfredo and their filet mignon. My mom loves all of my favorites. The mozzarella marinara and parmesan garlic bread are great appetizers. The chocolate cake was a bit too alcoholic for my personal taste, but the special daily desserts like the cannoli cream cake and chocolate peanut butter dessert are great - I'm just waiting for regular cannoli to make it onto the menu. I still want to try more dishes, but my favorites are so yummy that I have a hard time trying something else. I can't wait to go back.

I was surprised to learn that Maggiano's is a chain and was even more impressed after my dining experience. The food is top notch, very fresh and authentic, and our server was charming, attentive, and knowledgeable. We visited on a crowded Friday night and never felt rushed.

Maggiano's is amazing! The food is wonderful. I have never ordered anything from here that I didn't love. The prices are very reasonable as well. They serve individual meals (of course) but they also have family style meals where you can order enough food for the entire family. They have many good choices and the family style is cheap for the amount of food that you can get. Maggiano's is also great for parties. It's a low cost for the amount of food that you get and they also have all you can eat when you have a party there!

My husband and I eat at Maggianos all the time. We use to go for special occasions but now when we go out, there is no fighting about where. At my age, I was not wild about the stairs until I was escorted to the Elevator! This place is an A+

I recently went to Maggianos for the first time just before Christmas. The decor was fantastic. I had reservations for 5:00 but wasn't seated until 5:30. I'm attributing the tardiness to the amount of people opening presents thus taking longer than normal. At any rate, we received a complementary appetizer because of it. That was the only issue that we had the whole time which was reconciled quickly with the best mussels that I've ever had. The food was absolutely fantastic and the service was right along with it. While my wife was out feeding our new baby one of the managers came by to ask if he could take the food to the back to keep it warm. That's never happened anywhere that I've been to. The wait staff was very attentive without being overbearing. From the app to dessert nothing was a disappointment. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

We have been planning a trip to Maggiano's for some time. We finally visited on a Sunday and were pleased to see there was no wait. But even with a half-empty restaurant our service was glacial (but polite). The food was a mixed bag: the bread was stale, the zucchini succulent, the linguine with clam sauce was too salty, the eggplant parmesan was bland, the chocolate zuccotto cake was superb and the cappuccino was cold. Portions are large but the quality is mediocre. We won't be going back.
This is one of my favorite restuarants to eat at with a group, admittedly a small group, but the portions are so large you have to share. The resturant itself is lovely, the service is always great, and I've yet to try anything from the menu that I didn't like. Prices are quite reasonable for the amount of food you receive.
For anyone who said Maggiano's doesn't take reservations, yes it does, online no less, Open Table.
That said, we've wanted to try Maggiano's since it was built. The atmosphere is great. The staff was nice. The appetizer was superb. The mixed cocktails were fabulous. That's it. I picked veal marsala and it was very salty. I make better marsala all the time, saute some mushrooms, saute the meat, and then simmer it in marsala (add a smattering of cream if you're feeling special). Not hard. But marsala is my benchmark for Italian. If this easy dish is that bad, how bad is the rest of it? The special menu had mac-n-cheese on it. It's made with cheese, ziti pasta, and bacon. It wasn't creamy at all; it was more of a cheese ""sauce"". Pancetta would've been better. The pasta was al dente, but to me, that's not mac-n-cheese. Call it something else. You would be better armed to understand if it was at least called ""Italian style"" mac-n-cheese. He had something with incredibly tender beef on it that he loved, disliked the sauce and pasta it was on. When he was done he said ""Ok, we've tried it and we never have to come back"". Yep, I agree.
We have decided we'll use the bar and come in for before dinner drinks or after dinner desserts, those were hands-down great.

This restaurant has the BEST chicken parmeasean in te he Nashville area! I love going for the atmosphere; they have live music most nights, but knowing that all of the food is good, I still always stick with the chicken parmeasean! I tried it once at another well known restaurant (for the way they cook in the guests view), but I was not impressed. NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO MAGIANO'S CHICKEN PARMESEAN!!!!!

My husband and I went for a date night there. I got lasagna and my husband got shrimp pasta. Both dishes were huge so we had leftovers. We also got the spinach salad which was huge! And it was really good. We had bread and dipping oil to start with and we finished with the tiramisu and I had a cocktail. It was definitely a feast. The service was excellent and it had a relaxed feel, even though it's a big place. I think next time we go, we will bring a group for the family style because it would be nice to have a little bit of everything. You pay $25 a person and get a lot of food to share.

Don't show up hungry! For some reason no one seems to be able to get Italian right down south, even in chain restaurants. I was invited to a company dinner with high hopes for Maggiano's after hearing it was decent, but ended the evening sorely disappointed. I ordered a steak medium rare, which to me means it should be red in the middle and warm. What I got was the dark side of medium, COLD and tasteless, as if it had been unseasoned, unattended on the grill, and then sat on some back table waiting to be picked up for 15 minutes. My dish was the last of 9 to arrive to the table so everyone was already eating by the time mine showed up. I would've just eaten it had it been warm but it was borderline boot-leather, so I asked for it to be redone. TWENTY MINUTES later my new dish arrived... cooked MID WELL and barely warm- AGAIN. Keep in mind this was on a Tuesday evening, not exactly a bustling shift. I tried to catch the waiter after 15 minutes of waiting for the second attempt and ask for the order to be cancelled. It was brought to the table by dessert time anyhow but he volunteered to take it off the bill without hesitation. I understand that steak is not a ""traditional Italian"" meal, but if you fail at steak, why would a customer come back to try anything else? Thus my evening at Maggiano's consisted of sipping a tiny pour of Riesling while nibbling on appetizer salad watching everyone else eat. I will not be back unless another business function forces me to try an encore. Here are the HIGHLIGHTS: attentive waiter, stuffed mushrooms, tiramisu, ambiance. LOW POINTS: flavorless steak, uninteresting menu, lengthy wait times for food, small pours. I'm being generous with 3 stars only because my husband & other dinner companions said their dishes were decent and did not have any issues with their order. According to others, the crabcakes were ""okay"" and the lasagna was ""good"".

Do not go early for dinner unless you want stale bread from lunch served before your meal. Do not order a glass of wine unless you want a laughable pour. Do not go if you prefer quality over quantity. Do not go if you like good service and knowledgable servers. Do not go unless you had been planning on a subpar Italian buffet style meal anyway. Valentino's is great, Caesars is good, Amerigo's is alright, Maggiano's is a huge crummy chain. Avoid it unless you want to loosen your belt and shovel in the slop.
