Always impressed with the food and especially the service. Calamari, stuffed mushrooms, escargot, coconut shrimp and other appetizers are amazing. try their vanilla sweet potatoes for a side, they are to die for! Prime Rib, & Filet Mignon, Lobster is great together w/ daily large selection of fresh fish. Incredible creative chef.. Mngmt./owners visit your table each time to be sure you are satisfied with your meal. Fair prices for the large portions. We love this restaurant and frequent it often even though it is at least 25 miles+ away from our home. I would highly suggest to anyone wanting extraordinary food & service. Easy to get to on Hampden in Denver. plenty of parking.

I had withheld going to this restaurant due to bad reviews online. Having moved from Florida I'm a bit picky about my seafood but still desire fresh fish. I finally went for lunch and afterward felt horrible about avoiding this place because of a few bad reviews. I had a delicious Escolar fillet and great service for a surprisingly affordable price at lunch. Second visit was a similar experience with a good server and good food.
My visit for lunch yesterday was the exception. Had I never been to this restaurant I would have likely not returned. Had I been paying dinner prices I would have been especially disappointed. Thankfully my previous good experiences are the reason I will return.
My server said all of the right things but he acted too busy for me and would walk away while I was speaking to him. How rude. His words may have been saying the right things but his actions said otherwise. I ordered a coconut crusted Mahi that was a lunch special. The first piece was burned and burnt coconut is not appetizing. The server offered to bring another piece. Yes, please. I didn't eat much of my sides in anticipation of the new fillet. Sadly, I let the server take my sides away with my burned piece of fish. Guess the kitchen was upset with me. The next piece was beautifully golden but completely raw. By now my hour lunch break was over and I didn't have time to wait on a new meal, again. A manager came over an apologized and comped my meal. I left my server a big tip though he didn't really deserve it. Technically he did everything he was supposed to but I left feeling like ""one of those"" diners that gets talked badly about when I left. I don't LIKE being a pain but for a $15 lunch I expected more than burned or raw fish. (I love sushi but Mahi is not good raw).
Maybe the restaurant made a poor decision to have coconut crusted Mahi since Mahi is a thick fish and if you can't cook it thoroughly without burning the crust use a different fish. I had some bread, a few bites of my sides, and a few bites of fish. I left the restaurant without being very satisfied and a bit hungry.
With the meal comped with no questions I will return again for lunch and request the server that calls me ""young lady"" though I'm 30. She was so nice and attentive. If I'm looking to pay high dollar for dinner I will go to Bonefish which has never once been disappointing and has always delivers amazing food and outstanding service.

My husband and I dined at Fresh Fish for his birthday and couldn't be happier. My husband ordered the king crab legs and had the largest order come that I have ever seen at a restaurant. The staff was very knowledgable about my fish selection and the service was outstanding. We highly recommend it!!

We went here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We were so disappointed in the food and especially the service.
The food was really average - not good. The waiter never looked us in the eyes, but looked off in the distance while answering our questions and taking our order. When our meal came, my husband chose two sides with his meal - but ony got one. When we asked the waiter about it, he said ""Oh,I forgot. We are out of noodles."" We wished we had gone to Elways - that's where we usually go for our anniversary. We will never be back here!

You've got to try this place -- best seafood in town! I’ve been eating at Fresh Fish Co for 15 years and it just keeps getting better. Awesome variety and I’m pleased whether I have a salad and appetizer or full crab leg dinner with sides and dessert. My favorites: Calamari, Tuna-sicles, Mahi with the tomatillo salsa or ginger sesame sauce, crab legs, Prime Rib, Key Lime Pie and Strawberry Berry Festival. And the menu is labeled for dietary considerations/restrictions -- gluten free, calorie counts, etc!
The Black Pearl Oyster Bar... it’s part of the restaurant and they have the best happy hour around. The happy hour menu includes a number of drink specials and a long list of appetizers for about $1.50 to $5. My favorites: BBQ Shrimp, Prime Rib Sandwich, Voodoo Yam Fries, Shark Fries, Calamari and the 50 cent oysters. 50 cent oysters!!!
The atmosphere and decor are nice and inviting, and the water fountain wall near the entrance is a relaxing, artistic touch. The staff is friendly and helpful, and one or more of the management/ownership team greets me by name and with a smile on their face every time I am there.
Truly the best seafood spot in Denver! Fish is mesquite grilled, boneless and fresh! Their calamari is to die for! Never had a bad meal or service. And that's what 20 yrs says about a restaurant that still packs them in! Last time we dined with the Fresh Fish company, which is usually twice a month, the food was spectacular! Our server was awesome, (I've seen her there everytime we go) I think she's been at the restaurant as long as they've been open! probably keep her around just b/c of her amazing ability to make you feel like your dining at a good friends home. Between the food and the service, the owners of FFC should be proud!
Since moving to Denver from So. California 18 years ago I have yet to find another seafood restaurant that compares to the Fresh Fish Co. The service is always excellent and the fish always fresh. Whenever I am in the mood for seafood they will always be my first choice. Keep up the great work!!!!!!!
Was in Denver and stopped into the
Fresh Fish Company for some cocktails and aps. The calamari was awesome, not like any I've ever had before. The server was amazing. She definatley knew the menu inside and out, tons of fun - will definatley go back again. Ask for Terri - Great food, Great Service!!! Ask for Terri's section - I will.

I hate being landlocked! Mostly I miss the sea and its bounty....I have finally found my sea again...almost! The atmosphere of this place is fantastic, with all the aquariums and subdued lighting. I was greeted promptly and taken to a booth close to LOTS of tropical fish. The offerings on the menu will keep me coming back again and again, as there was simply so much choice, even with ONE fish, the variety of preparations were enough to make me go back and forth until at last I settled on Salmon with a creole sauce to make me want to slap my momma...well, I would never do that, but it was euphoric. The fish was hot and prepared just right and the sauce....OH the sauce! The sides were all very fresh and the wedge salad with Blue cheese dressing was the bomb! My server was prompt, knowledgeable (that's how I finally settled on the Creole sauce) and very polite. The comments from the rest of the table were just as good and the portions did not dissapoint. Bottom line, being away from Florida still hurts, but at least I can use this great restaurant as a crutch between visits home. Bon Appetit!

What a total disappointment. It has taken me two days to recover from the most disgusting dining experience of my life. I took my mother there for her 80th birthday party at her request. What should have been the pinnacle of her special day turned into a truly miserable time for our party of 8. The sever was unbelievably rude. I can't even begin to tell you what it feels like to be continually ignored as if your not welcome at her restaurant. I so much enjoyed having my soup served after my entrée (unbelievable), repeatedly asking for another drink, having been told repeatedly by her that the total on the bill didn't include the gratuity, are we getting the picture now. My guest kept asking me, doesn't this salmon taste like it came from the can. Guess what it did? The fish was totally over cooked and was only fit for the last meal at the Dumb Friends League. How do they stay in business? After being ignored and the other guest leaving, we stayed to pay the bill. Guess what one more reminder that the total didn't include the gratuity. What gratuity, you have insulted, ignored us all night. If you need to know more about the Fresh Fish Company you can read more in the Webster Dictionary under the heading Mediocrity Good luck to all that chose to take the chance of a truly unforgettable meal for all the wrong reasons. The one highlight of the evening was the busboy who was polite and did a great job of removing the food we couldn't stomach, which was most of it.

Have gone to this restaurant for at least 20 years. I took my 87 year old mother there for a lobster birthday dinner. They used to offer % off according to age. Not anymore. For years, we've received our cards in the mail. None have been received for any of us for this year. However, we have always shown our Id and it was accepted. They have changed the discount to a flat $15.00's and on down according to dinner, lunch and brunch. I didn't have a problem with the change of procedure, but I did have a problem with service, bar, food and overall horrid attitude of the dinner waiter and the food. He was put out because we had cocktails and appetizers during the happy hour and didn't want to order more. If you offer it, don't have your waiters cop an attitude. We ordered filet with lobster tail. The lobster was curled up and the size of a golf ball , had grizzle, rubber texture and totally tasteless. I never knew you could destroy a lobster like that. You are a Fresh Food Fish Company?? I could have done better at King Soopers and cooked it myself. Better taste texture and quality. The beef fillet was actually good. Wooha...lol The same with the appetizers, Calamari and Coconut shrimp were over cooked and tasted like rubber. Fresh Fish Company ?? Our server was a snot and had no patience for my 87 year old mother who was hard of hearing. Over priced, poor service, bad attitude, horrid food and after 20 years...I will never go back. I'm passing on the word to my friends and family. I could add more details on the rudeness of the waiter, but...enough...I will always go back to a restaurant with friendly and caring service. It's too bad that was once a good restaurant has ....gone to yuck

The Fresh Fish Company is a delightful place for a seafood meal. The fish is fresh, as the name states, and the service is very good - the waitstaff is very attentive - my water glass is never empty! The presentation is appealing, and the sauces for the entrees bring out the best flavors of the entree. My favorite side is the mashed sweet potatoes. This is one of our destination restaurants for special meals.
