- Investment ManagementAutomated investment management relies on algorithms (i.e., processes or sets of rules followed in computer calculations) to provide investment services that can help you meet your financial goals. Sometimes referred to as a robo-advisor, this approach can help reduce the time, guesswork, and stress of owning a portfolio.
- Mutual FundsTo enroll in INVEST, you’ll need to fund your account(s) with a minimum of $3,000 in eligible investments. If you already have existing eligible brokerage account(s) with Vanguard, you can select to enroll one or more of your existing accounts to be managed by INVEST. Each account you wish to enroll must have a balance of at least $3,000, and the entire balance must be in eligible investments. Ineligible investments include non-Vanguard mutual funds, individual bonds, securities traded on international exchanges, preferred stocks, penny stocks, illiquid stocks, and options.

- Financial PlanningOn your INVEST dashboard, you’ll see the option to schedule a consultation with a Vanguard financial advisor. You will be asked to list the 1-2 financial planning topics you’d like to discuss ahead of the appointment so that your advisor can prepare for your personalized phone consultation.
- Asset ManagementWhen you sign up for INVEST, you’ll be asked for basic information about your goals, risk tolerance, and the length of time you want to stay invested. INVEST then uses algorithms to determine an appropriate asset allocation, build an investment portfolio tailored to your situation, and automatically rebalance your portfolio, so you don’t have to.
