I was excited about the place at first but the service is WACK. We had a large party and our server had trouble seating us, mucked up our orders, quoted incorrect prices, took forever to bring out our drinks and failed to turn on the patio fan in 90 degree weather. I sat at the table 10 mins before I was presented with a menu and to think of it I never was served any water. As if!!!! To put it plane, our server, Megan was incompetent. Chad did not resolve our concerns. If you want to waste 50 bucks and pay gratuity for horrible service, this is your place.
I will be going to Copeland's to cheer on my Saints!!!!!

The best thing I can sya about this place is that the shrimp po boy was delicious.
The service was sustandard. The food arrived cold and the crabcakes sucked. The manager ""Chad"" came over and I explained that I did not like the dish, he went on to say ""This is on of our top dishes, I am not in the habit of removing items off of the bill"" I stated that I never asked you to remove any items from the bill.
Beinh from DC, I am used to managers being more accomodating and ""Chad"" simply was not. I will never, ever eat here again.

Went to the establishment in L5P to watch a game. Waited 1 hour for a table in front of the TV playing the game, watched half of it only it have it changed by a patron sitting at the bar with the remote! I asked the manager to rectify the situation to which she initially replied ""I will move them, give me a second"". We saw the manager talking to the patrons at the bar and 20 minutes went by and the 2nd half was halfway over. Therefore we approached the manager again who stated that she would not accommodate us! We even suggested changing our table to another where they would play the game we were watching since they weren't going to move the people sitting at the bar (who were buying cheap beer while our table ordered $100 in dinner and drinks). In shock we angrily stated that we would not come to this place ever again. With that the manager asked us then to leave! A formal complaint went without ANY real apology. I can't help but think if my friends and I were white, we would have gotten priority since WE WERE THERE FIRST and our food bill was much larger. DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST! (1 star because there was no 0 star rating)

I live on the other side of town but make it a habit to frequent this location for Front Page News. The service is always outstanding but the food is worth the trip from Chamblee. It's less noisy than the midtown location and the servers and everyone connected with this restaurant is OUTSTANDING! I do not make it a habit of reviewing restaurants but this one is a gem than is worth the visit. Believeme, vsit it once and I'll be your best friend for life.

It sits across a busy Moreland ave away from all the foot traffic of local weirdos and 15 year old girls from the burbs, and it can easily be overlooked or an afterthought for luch or a drink. Skip going to the terrible Corner Tavern, or overpriced and crowded Brewhouse and check out one of the best patios in Atlanta. Great tv's, bartenders, and cajun flare. Get bombed like like a hand grenade on Bourbon, just be careful crossing Moreland.

This is my favorite spot to catch a game. The food is awesome--much better than other sports bar's--and well priced. There are tons of great drink selections that are also well priced. And the seating and placement of TVs mean that you can literally watch any combination of games from pretty much anywhere in the restaurant. The staff has always been more than willing to accommodate any channel change requests, and they are very friendly and the bartenders are great to hang out with.
One of the best spots in town.

Apparently my friends told me my review from before was too harsh. I will stand by my ""sit at the bar, not a table attitude"". I called to find out my bartenders' names. Apparently Danilelle and Matt are the bartenders to have a good time with( again, loud but fun) Servers, I am still iffy about.. I will also suggest the bloody marys(spicy/hot ones). The food is still leaving a bad taste in my mouth, but I'm willing to let my friends talk me into another try. Supposedly it depends on the day you go, the type of food/service you will receive. Anyway...sit at the bar...order food cautiously! Hope my friends and neighborhood people find this less offensive than my last review.

I've eaten here twice. On both occasions, the service was barely adequate. Even though the restaurant wasn't crowded, I felt like my friend and I were forgotten. The food tastes like it's fresh of the Sysco truck. I guess if you're looking for nothing better than a pretty patio for a few drinks and maybe some bar snacks, it's ok. But definitely not a dining destination.

Having a good understanding of what cajun food should taste like I thought that this place would be a new favorite of mine based on some other reviews. Got there and the patio was very nice!!! Got a drink, not bad. Ordered the salmon dinner...absolutely disgusting. The red beans and rice...worst i've ever had. Oh yeah, I ordered a crab cake for an appetizer...they forgot it. So I decided to send my meal back. The manager comes over and asked what the problem was. He then says that they do not take food back because it doesn't taste good. Huh??? I dont send a lot of food back, but I've tasted bad food from Burger King and they took it back, this is supposed to be a decent restaurant. Anyhow, after arguing for a moment he took it back. I ordered a simple shrimp po-boy. How can you mess that up. Well they did. Food has no seasoning, bread was dry. I just threw my hands up. If you enjoy tasteless food then try Front Page News today!!

For food, drinks and great patio Front Page news IS springtime. The patio can't be beat. The busy nights are more a bit of a hassle on the patio but the dining room inside stays reasonably quiet until around 10ish. The menu is great, but I must admit, I have so many favorites, I rarely try anything new. While my friends say the new Orleans food is the draw, I prefer the blackened chicken salad and the amazing blackened salmon salad. (I like salads, alot) Wine list is short but decent, and quite inexpensive. We usually start with Martinis and switch to the special drink list later. Perfect neighborhood joint for dinner and drinks anytime!

We just moved back to Atlanta and one of our first nights out we returned to Front Page. We used to go to Front Page before we moved 3 years ago and I am glad to report it is better than ever.
The patio is still fun & festive and the bartenders (some old faces, some new) Seem to always pour a extra strong drink. The food is still fabulous, we had a steak and Jambalaya Like most non-tourist restaurants in new Orleans there is more than just ""Cajun and Creole"" food. From many years of visiting I can tell you, Steaks, burgers, and the Jazz brunch are great. There is no better place to celebrate being back.

It is a shame that this place calls itself cajun. It is the farthest thing from it.The food is well below average.
They dont devein there shrimp.
Food far to bland to be referred to as cajun/creole
At times snippy service
food prepared apathetic and indifferentI give it one star for the patio where you can enjoy over priced cheap beer.

Front Page News is one of my favorite places to eat. I always go there for a meal when visiting Little 5. All the food I have tried here is great. This includes the burgers, salmon sandwich, muffelattas, and their seafood gumbo is outstanding!! (order it with a side of rice!) The only draw back is the service is not up to par some of the time (seem like they don't care about you at all), and if you sit in the wrong spot on the patio it can smell like a sewer. All in all it is a great place to sit down and chill out and have a delicious meal after walking around shopping.

Love my Sunday morning brunch so when Front Page News was introduced as a brunch location, I took some friends July 1 to check it out. I remembered having been there before in the evening and the service was appalling. It was Saturday night so all was forgiven. Sunday Brunch was the same. The food was good but it was cold and when they ran out of Homefries, they brought me grits without informing me. I HATE grits! Service was really lame.....yet again. If Front Page News could improve on their service, as the food is quite good, it would get a higher rating. Waiting over 1 hour for brunch really takes the biscuit.

I think I said it all in the title of this review. We like eating at Front Page News before going to the Horizon Theater. We can arrive a little more than an hour before the show, have a great meal at reasonable prices and their great service allows us to be at the theater in time for the show (this is great during the week after work). Also, did I mention the they have free and ample parking as well -- a great benefit in the Little 5 Points area.
